List of Japanese supercentenarians
These are lists of Japanese supercentenarians (people from Japan who have attained the age of at least 110 years). The Gerontology Research Group (GRG), an organization that tracks supercentenarians and validates their ages, has verified age claims for over 300 verified supercentenarians from Japan. The oldest person ever from Japan was Misao Okawa, who died at the age of 117 years 27 days on 1 April 2015.〔 The Gerontology Research Group lists people as living whose age has been validated and confirmed to be alive within the past year.〕 The oldest living person in Japan is Nabi Tajima, born on 4 August 1900 and aged .
